Producing High End Drama Television Series and Feature Films

Honeypot Film Productions operates out of Stockholm, Sweden. We strive to create global content that is engaging, thought-provoking and gripping. We are not limited by platform, instead we allow the story to dictate the most suitable process and method.

The company has predominantly been involved in co-productions in the past, most notably the award winning short Into the Blue and the VR/360 Music documentary First Wednesday in July

We have optioned two books and are currently developing the following material for the screen: a childrens preschool animation series based on A Patch from Scratch by Megan Forward and a drama series based on Lettere senza confini by Gaia Simonetti.

Karolina Berkell
PRODUCER / CEO

Founded in 2008 in Edinburgh, Scotland by Karolina Berkell. Honeypot Film Productions began as the sole trading name for Karolina’s freelance production work and over time grew into a recognised brand.

Karolina is a creative producer with a diverse background in film and culture. She has worked on numerous award winning productions as a crew member and also co-produced the multi-award winning live action short film “Into the Blue“.

Since graduating with a BA in Film & Photography from Napier University/Screen Academy Scotland in 2008, Karolina has accrued 15 years of international film industry experience (Australia, England and Scotland). The variety of crew roles and co-productions have provided Karolina with a solid foundation for producing her own content and developing the company portfolio.

Utilising her European, British & Australian connections, her goals are to develop and produce global content that is engaging, thought-provoking and gripping. Karolina makes things happen with gusto and determination and welcomes collaborations and partnerships.
